Exfoliation is one of the most effective ways of producing  smooth glowing skin. Black skin has a tendency not to shed easily due to the dense nature of its structure. As a result pores and hair follicles become clogged, resulting in a bumpy uneven texture. Exfoliation is the key to maintaining  healthy skin it encourages desquamation (the natural shedding of dead skin cells), poor desquamation  can be the cause of many problems associated with black skin.

Scrubbing your skin regularly will stimulate healthy cells renewal and alleviate that ashen appearance that black skin can often have, exfoliation leaves your skin looking fresh and smooth to touch.

Just a few of the benefits to be gained by scrubbing regularly:

  • Promotes cell renewal

  • Has anti-ageing benefits

  • Allows deeper penetration of moisturisers

  • Evens out skin tone

  • Promotes deeper hydration

  • Keeps your skin bright and healthy

  • Reduces the appearance of bumps and blemishes
